Zena Kay (they/them) is a multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from central New Jersey, they earned a B.A. in Classical Guitar Performance and Composition from Purchase College in New York. They have worked professionally in pit orchestras, bands, and recording sessions for the past 10 years. Their list of instruments include guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, dobro, mandolin, banjo, and harmonica. Past credits include artists such as Angel Olsen, Maddie Zahm, Jen Awad, Noelle Tannen, Rosali, Adult Mom, Karl Blau, Sinbad, Cosmic Guilt, Zozo Afrobeat, Rentboy, Curtis Cooper, Jack Zaferes and many more. Zena is currently performing and recording with artists all over the country.
